StoreFeeder App version 4.12.0 will be released on 23rd April, bringing upgrades alongside practical improvements to picking and stock control workflows.
Changes to Login
The biggest change in this release is the new login page.
Users will be presented with a new login page when entering the app, which also sees the introduction of two-factor authentication (2FA) for the StoreFeeder App where users have 2FA specified on their user within StoreFeeder.

This update brings the app in line with the security standards already in place for the main StoreFeeder system, helping to better protect your data and operations.
What this means for you:
- You’ll now complete a 2FA step when logging into the app
- You can still choose to remember your login for 30 days, just like on the main system
- Once authenticated, fingerprint and PIN login options continue to work as normal, so day-to-day access remains quick and convenient
This balances stronger security with minimal disruption to your workflow.
Scan Cartons During Picking
Picking accuracy gets a boost with the new ability to scan carton barcodes during picking.
Benefits include:
- Adds an extra layer of validation
- Helps ensure the correct items are picked
- Reduces errors, especially in high-volume environments
This is particularly useful where carton-level tracking is part of your process.
Skip Picks in Pickwaves
Flexibility during picking has improved with the ability to skip the current pick in a pickwave.
When would I use this?
- An aisle is temporarily closed for replenishment
- A forklift or obstruction is blocking access
- The area is too busy to pick safely or efficiently
What happens when you skip?
- The pick is moved to the end of the pickwave
- Pickers can continue working without delays
This keeps operations flowing smoothly, even when the warehouse doesn’t cooperate.
Stock Take by Inventory Range
We’ve introduced a new stock take type designed to help you stay on top of low stock levels.
How it works:
- Set a stock level threshold
- The app guides you to locations where total inventory falls below that level.
Why it matters:
This feature is designed to help you:
- Catch discrepancies before stock runs out
- Maintain accurate inventory at critical levels
- Reduce the risk of overselling low-stock items
It’s a targeted, efficient way to focus effort where it matters most.
Summary
Version 4.12.0 focuses on three key areas:
- Security: 2FA brings the app in line with platform standards
- Accuracy: Carton scanning and targeted stock takes reduce errors
- Efficiency: Skip picks keeps workflows moving in real-world conditions
As always, these updates are designed to make your day-to-day operations smoother, safer, and more reliable.
