Welcome to the latest Release Updates post.
Hope you all have managed to get some work done and enjoy your social lives in between queuing for petrol, it's rough out there. Speaking of being out there it's been sunny for three days and so it has been declared that summer might as well have arrived! I've seen parks filled instantly. My shorts have made their first appearance whilst making sure I got the barbecues lit. We'll ignore that by day four it was brisk 11°C and raining again...
Here at StoreFeeder towers we've all been preparing for StoreFeeder Sessions which is rapidly approaching! Don't expect anything too crazy in this update, but expect to hear about some awesome new features if you're attending Sessions this year.
As per usual, our developers have been working hard to bring you an exciting update this month. There has been a lot of work in the background (which you can read about here) but there have been some great updates and new features released this past month, the highlights of which are below:
Amazon Carrier Code Validation

When despatching through a custom courier within StoreFeeder, you'll need to enter the correct carrier code on your shipping methods so that Amazon receives the correct information needed to mark the order as despatched on channel. Up until this point we didn't have any form of validation on StoreFeeder's end to check that what was being entered was accepted by Amazon which could sometimes lead to orders not being marked as despatched on Amazon, if the code had been entered incorrectly.
As of this last month we have added a validation check as well as a dropdown of all known carrier codes to us. Why the need for both? Well, there are some carrier codes that may not be on our point of reference or even brand new ones that haven't made their way on there yet, it's important that you still have the freedom to submit something other than what we have available on our list as it may be completely valid, we just aren't aware of it yet! With this being said, the validation will appear as a warning if you enter something not recognised by StoreFeeder as you can see from the image below:

But we wont ever stop you outright from sending this information up to Amazon if you so wish, the validation is more there just as a warning. Hopefully this reduces the chances of incorrect codes being sent up going forward.
Drag and Drop Priority Order

Super simple update but my goodness does it make changing the priority of your warehouses and suppliers on products so much easier! We've added a drag and drop function to the edit product page on the far left of both the aforementioned sections as you can see below:

You can of course still change these in bulk via the product import export tool, but when it comes to editing an individual product, this is now by far the quickest method to reorganising priority.
Purchase Order Stay on Edit Page
A nice quality of life update for those that process their purchase orders using StoreFeeder; we now no longer send you back to the purchase order overview page when you save changes to a purchase order (whether new or existing). We've been requested this feature a few times now as clients reported it would benefit their workflow heavily as most the time they want to edit or review the purchase order they were working on still after hitting the save button.
Whilst I'm on the topic, if you're not doing purchase orders through us, I'd highly recommend it! It makes managing inventory even easier as you'll be booking deliveries directly into StoreFeeder and you can keep a record of any damaged or missing goods against the PO all from one place. On top of that, our requisitions feature makes formulating purchase orders an absolute breeze, give it a look if you've got a spare moment.
Finally….
There have been some great new features and fixes implemented in this last month's releases and we hope you find them useful in one way or another.
As always, we’ll keep working hard to provide you with the best service we can.
From all of us here at StoreFeeder, happy selling.
