GPSR Compliance: StoreFeeder Updates and Channel Support

As the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) takes effect today, we want to provide you with an update on the work we've done to support this change, what to expect in the coming days, and what lies ahead.

Product Regulatory Information in StoreFeeder

We have implemented enhancements within StoreFeeder to help you seamlessly add all necessary regulatory information to your products. Once entered into the system, this information can be uploaded to supported sales channels. Key updates include:

• New Product Information Screens: These allow you to input regulatory data efficiently.

• Supplier Updates: Suppliers can now also function as manufacturers.

• Bulk Import Functionality: All regulatory information can be added in bulk using our product import tools.

‍Channel Support Updates

eBay Integration

We are pleased to announce that support for uploading and downloading GPSR-related information to and from eBay is now live. Key points to note:

• Default Settings: This feature is turned off for existing listings by default to avoid overwriting any data you may have already added on the channel.

• Bulk Updates: You can update listings in bulk using our listing import/export functionality.

• Listing Synchronisation: If you have already entered regulatory information on eBay, you can re-download your listings and map them to products in StoreFeeder. This process will retrieve any existing information and store it within the system. Additionally, we provide the option to copy this information to the product when mapping.

‍Amazon Integration

Support for Amazon listings is coming very soon, alongside the release of our redesigned Amazon listing page. This updated page has been designed to improve usability and streamline the listing process. Similar to eBay, the system will ensure that any existing data entered on the Amazon channel is not overwritten. Further details will follow in next week's update, so please stay tuned.

Other Channels

For other channels, official requirements are still unclear, and many do not yet provide a dedicated method for uploading GPSR information. The current industry consensus suggests including regulatory details within product descriptions. However, as this is not an official recommendation, we are not advising this approach at this time.

If this becomes standard practice, we will promptly provide an easy way for you to include the required information through StoreFeeder for any supported channels. For now, we recommend reaching out to your respective channels for specific compliance guidance.
