Best warehouse management software for UK eCommerce (2026)
October 25, 2026
Last checked: 25 October 2026. We make StoreFeeder, so it appears first. Every other product is described from its own website and pricing page on the date above, and we've said who each one suits better than us. If a vendor's site doesn't mention a feature, we say "not stated" rather than assume it's missing. Prices change, so confirm them with the vendor.
Choosing warehouse management software in the UK usually comes down to three questions: how many orders you ship, whether you run your own warehouse or a 3PL, and how many sales channels you sell on. The products below cover very different ends of that range, from free shipping tools to enterprise WMS priced from £1,500 a month.
How we compared them
- Warehouse control: barcode scanning, bin locations, picking methods, multi-warehouse and returns, as each vendor describes them.
- Pricing: the public starting price, what it's based on (orders, users or turnover) and whether VAT is included.
- Fit: who the vendor says the product is for.
- UK presence: whether the vendor states a UK address.

How to choose warehouse management software
- Count your orders. Under about 30 orders a day, a shipping tool such as ShipStation or Veeqo is usually enough. Above that, picking errors and manual work start to cost more than the software.
- Decide whether you need a WMS, an OMS or both. If you hold your own stock, you need bin locations and scan-validated picking. If you sell on several channels, you need one order queue and one stock figure. Some products do one well and rely on an integration for the other. Our guide to WMS vs inventory management systems explains the difference.
- Check how pricing scales. Prices based on orders, users or turnover behave very differently as you grow. Work out next year's cost as well as this year's.
- Ask about onboarding. Find out who sets the system up, how long go-live takes, and whether your channels keep running while you switch.
- See it with your own products. Ask for a demo using your SKUs, channels and couriers rather than a standard walkthrough.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best warehouse management software for a small UK business?
It depends on volume. Below roughly 30 orders a day, a low-cost shipping and inventory tool is usually the better value. Once you're picking from shelves every day across several channels, a WMS with barcode-validated picking is worth considering, because mispicks and manual despatch start to add up.
How much does warehouse management software cost in the UK?
Published starting prices in this list range from free (Veeqo's shipping plan, ShipStation's free plan) to £1,500 a month (Peoplevox). Several vendors only quote on request. Check what the price is based on, and whether onboarding, modules and VAT are extra.
Do I need a WMS if I use a 3PL?
Usually not for the 3PL's own warehouse, because they run their own system. You still need order management and a single stock figure across your channels, and if you also ship some orders yourself, a WMS that handles more than one location.
Is StoreFeeder a WMS or an order management system?
Both. StoreFeeder includes eCommerce order management, inventory, warehouse management and courier labels in one system.
