The Warehouse Workers Mental Health Report 2025
December 6, 2024
The mental health of people working within warehouses has been well reported over the last few years, with large scale operations often gaining a bad reputation when it comes to the mental health of their employees. Headlines will often label the environment as “unsafe”, “gruelling” and the workers “stressed”, but does that reflect the wider warehouse industry?
Launching The Warehouse Workers Mental Health Report 2025, StoreFeeder is looking to establish the position the industry finds itself in, where the key areas of focus lie, what the industry is doing well, and what can be done moving forward to improve the mental health of workers within it.
To do this, we surveyed 500 warehouse workers across the country, in various positions and services, to understand the state of their mental health at present.
Ian Dade, Operations Manager at StoreFeeder, introduces our report:
“The mental health of people working in warehouses is something that is regularly explored within the media and by owners and managers in warehouses. At StoreFeeder, we’re always looking at ways to make warehouse operations more efficient, not only to aid output, but also to lessen the strain on workers within the industry.
Our Warehouse Workers Mental Health Report 2025 aims to explore the state of play not just in the larger scale warehouses the media report on, but across the industry as a whole to understand the key pain points and challenges, as well as the positive work being done by many businesses up and down the country to aid the mental health of their staff.”
