The last meet our team blog was published just as summer was arriving, well, that lasted five minutes didn't it? The team at StoreFeeder HQ keeps growing so, without further ado, let's meet one of the pillars of onboarding, may we introduce Matt Smith.

What do you do at StoreFeeder?

Teach and guide new customers through StoreFeeder to help get their account set up and ready for daily use.

What problem faced by e-commerce companies do you want to solve?
‍

Inventory management, particularly with regards to fluctuating online footfall.
‍

What are your past credentials? How do you fit into the StoreFeeder makeup?
‍

I've worked in customer service and hospitality for many years and get great satisfaction helping others achieve their goals.

What do you like best about working at StoreFeeder?
‍

The team are incredibly kind, patient, and amazingly knowledgeable. It's a real joy to work with them plus I learn something new everyday!

What is the primary benefit a company gets by signing up to StoreFeeder?
‍

Being able to manage their listings, particularly when omnichannel, in one centralised place is a massive timesaver and huge advantage.
‍

What values drive you?
‍

Honesty is a big one, with open and healthy communication. Patience is important to me particularly when learning something new because everybody can learn differently. Plus I'm a big advocate for creativity - I admire anyone who is unafraid to use their imagination and think outside of the box.

Who’s your favourite band?
‍

Radiohead! I can't say they're a favourite within the office, but I think they're brilliant!

You have been selected to go on the Channel 4 series ‘Alone’, where you have to survive alone for as long as you can. What luxury item do you take and why?
‍

It's going to need to be the acoustic guitar. You never know when inspiration will strike!

What do you like to do when you’re not shoulder to the grindstone at StoreFeeder?
‍

I value my friends, my family, and my partner and spend time with them as often as I can. But I do love to tinker on the guitar, learn a melody, and play a couple of songs at the local open mic. I also can't say no to a good gaming session or a good horror flick.
