StoreFeeder – IOSS Update

June 25, 2021

The 1st July implementation date is fast approaching so we are letting our customers know what has been done on StoreFeeder around the new IOSS requirements.

This page from our partners at Royal Mail gives a good overview of the IOSS regulations:

And also a guide from our partners eBay:

eBay Guide

Information and update requirements from carriers and marketplace channels has been “patchy” to say the least and we are still waiting for information from some of our partners.

Below is the current state of play and where we plan to be by July 1st:

Marketplace channels:

We will be receiving confirmation that the channel has collected the tax and will receive the IOSS number from the following marketplaces:

  • eBay
  • Fruugo
  • Etsy (they are not passing confirmation through the API, but have given us the number to hard code for Etsy orders)

**Update - This is now received from eBay**

No other marketplace channels have yet passed details on about how they will operate.

Carriers:

We have received information from the following carriers on how to pass the IOSS information over when generating a label:

  • Royal Mail
  • DPD
  • Hermes
  • Parcelforce

No other carriers have yet passed information to us about updated API specifications.

As soon as we do receive the updated information from Marketplaces and Carriers not listed above, we will make the changes as soon as possible.

If you receive any contact from channels and couriers not listed above, please feel free to share the information with us via the Support portal.

We will provide updates throughout next week as more information is received.

Thanks
The StoreFeeder Team
