Welcome to the latest Release Updates post.
As Black Friday comes to a close but the Christmas rush only just begins, it's time to reflect on the brilliant updates and additions that we've made to StoreFeeder over the month of November. Whilst I imagine that you've all got your Christmas parties to looks forward to soon, how about some early excitement in the form of extra data visibility on the purchase order page and a way to track changes to user permissions?! I trust you're on the edge of your seats.
As per usual, our developers have been working hard to bring you an exciting update this month. There has been a lot of work in the background (which you can read about here) but there have been some great updates and new features released this past month, the highlights of which are below:
Purchase Orders - Product Image & Quarantined Inventory Visibility
A couple of heavily requested additions to the purchase order creation page. We've added the option to see an image of your products to help easily distinguish between them; we've also added an additional column for quarantined inventory as we had reports that, although seeing your current inventory is great, there are occasions where stock is sat in quarantined locations (for example, if it's waiting for QA approval before sale) and therefore it would be great to see that figure as well.
A reminder that, in order to see these columns, you may need to enable them using the tools icon found in the top right of the 'Edit Purchase Order' grid as shown below:
User Audit Log for Permission
I'd be willing to bet that there's been times where one of your StoreFeeder account's users has had their permissions changed in someway or another and you've been left scratching your head as to what could have happened! Well wonder no longer as we've introduced an audit log feature for user permissions; you can find the 'User Audit' page located under: Settings > Company.
The 'User Audit' page gives you a detailed history of changes to your users permissions showing the date the change was made, the user that made the change (empowered user) along with the affected user. It also shows you which permission was changed along with the value it was changed to.
So hopefully this helps solve a mystery or two going forward!
Tesco Listing Import/Export Support
A short, to write about, but certainly sweet update for our Tesco marketplace users! You'll now be able to edit your listings in bulk using the listing import/export feature, something previously not possible. This will make making changes to your listings an absolute breeze.
Royal Mail Crossborder Services
Lastly, we've added support for Royal Mail's crossborder services. You'll now be able to create shipping methods for the following service codes:
- ITC IMPORT DE CROSSBORDER TRACKED 24 (LBT) (HV)
- ITD IMPORT DE CROSSBORDER TRACKED 48 (LBT) (HV)
- ITE IMPORT DE CROSSBORDER TRACKED 48 (LBT)
- ITF IMPORT DE CROSSBORDER TRACKED 24 (LBT)
Of course, don't forget, you'll need to create shipping rules for any new shipping methods you create as well!
Finally….
There have been some great new features and fixes implemented in this last month's release's and we hope you find them useful in one way or another.
As always we’ll keep working hard to provide you with the best service we can.
From all of us here at StoreFeeder, happy selling.
