Happy Valentines! Love is certainly in the air as I return to my update posting duties and get the joy of writing about all the wonderful new additions to our software month in and month out. Now, although Valentines day is a day to give extra attention to your partner, it's also important not to neglect yourself and with that considered, this past month has been more StoreFeeder focussed than with our integrations (though there's plenty of work going on in the background, including new integrations! But don't tell the others...)
As per usual, our developers have been working hard to bring you an exciting update this month. There has been a lot of work in the background (which you can read about here) but there have been some great updates and new features released this past month, the highlights of which are below:
Amazon Business Criteria for Shipping Rules
Whilst it's been possible to set up shipping rules that look for the channel being Amazon or if it's a Prime order for a long time, we didn't have the option to set criteria for whether the order was place through Amazon Business, which could certainly have an impact on the shipping given to the order!
So now, we've added the criteria of "Amazon Business" to the shipping rule creation/editor tool as you can see below:
Postcode Filter for Shipping Regions
A highly requested feature, and that is the option to search by postcode when creating shipping regions. Admittedly it used to be a little tricky to navigate the sea of postcodes and counties contained within each destination that you wanted to include in your shipping region.
As of this update, when you select a destination, you'll be given the option to filter by postcode; filtering this way will make setting up your shipping regions a breeze as you wont have to go trawling through each county to find every postcode that you wanted to include on the profile.
Refund & Collection Order Notes
Lastly, a short and sweet one, we've added two new types of Order Notes to help further categorise them so that exporting information concerning multiple orders is a little easier. These two new types are: 'Refund' and 'Collection', two subjects that are frequently searched for.
