Improved buying and selling on eBay
eBay has launched Product-Based Shopping Experience (PBSE) which will make it easier for buyers to find the merchandise that meets their search criteria, and quickly decide which products they want to purchase. When a buyer searches for an item on eBay, the search results will group together by-products to help buyers quickly find the correct product. This new experience will require you to associate your listings with the eBay catalogue.n
With the volume of products and listings on eBay growing, the ability for buyers to find the correct product is getting harder. For every product, there are seemingly thousands of listings and buyers often get frustrated in trying to find the correct products from the multitude of listings. The new Product-Based Shopping Experience is aimed to make it easier for buyers to search for and find the products they want. The results will be grouped together based on product and condition. much like one of eBay's main rival marketplaces, with a list of applicable sellers available i each category.
Products will now show Buying Options based on condition for each product that is within the Catalogue and when a user selects a product, the different options available will show on the listing with a link to the list of sellers for that product
As of now, there are certain categories that are now live on eBay. These can be found here. Over the rest of 2018 and through 2019, eBay will be adding more categories. How to utilise eBay Catalogue through StoreFeeder
