Map Products & Listings by Spreadsheet
As a member of the onboarding team, I must admit, this new feature is a very well-received addition. You now have the option to map your listings to your products by spreadsheet in StoreFeeder.
The option to map listings in bulk has always existed but only really by SKU, meaning that if your SKU’s didn’t match you’d have to map each listing manually. With the intention of making this laborious task a lot easier, you can now do it by linking your SKU’s up in a spreadsheet.
To get the listing ID’s and other information you’ll need to map, you’ll first need to export your unmapped listings; you can do so on the ‘Listing Import/Export’ page found under the listings drop down on your StoreFeeder navigation bar. From here, on the left-hand side of the page you’ll see an option for ‘Export Unmapped Listings”:
Select which channel you want to export your unmapped listings from then click the ‘Export’ button on the far right side of the page.
You should now have a spreadsheet that looks similar to the example below:
All you need to do now is fill in the highlighted column with the product SKU that you wish to map the corresponding listing SKU with.
Once you’ve finished, come back to the ‘Listing Import/Export’ page on StoreFeeder; this time, click the ‘Import & Map Unmapped’ tab on the left-hand side:
Choose your spreadsheet mapping file and the channel you are mapping to, followed by any options you’d like to have on during mapping. Then, once you’ve done that, click the ‘Import’ button in the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
Now sit back and wait for the mapping to happen! You’ll get sent an email once it’s done if you don’t fancy waiting about for it.
