Welcome to the latest Release Updates post.

As it's coming up to our customer's peak season we like to avoid putting out too many new features so that we can focus on keeping StoreFeeder fast and stable, meaning that there are no holdups for you.

But that’s not to say we haven’t had a few things we have been working on and testing that we would like to release to all of our customers beforehand to help them be more secure and productive at their busiest times.

First up we have a couple of security enhancements as we understand that, during this exceptionally busy period, you may need to change your working practices and employ temporary staff to help with increased demand.

Restricting Access by IP Address

We have implemented functionality to allow you to control where your employees can and can't connect to StoreFeeder. This will allow you to allow any office staff to work from home but prevent warehouse staff, for example, from accessing StoreFeeder outside of your buildings. Multifactor Authentication (MFA)

We have also brought in the ability to enforce MFA on staff members to help prevent issues with lost devices etc. In order to log in you will need to enter a randomly generated code that refreshes every minute. Again, just like the IP Address Restriction update, the flexibility is there to make it optional across your organisation or enforce it for all staff and if you have certain staff you wish to exclude then you can do that too. Next up we have a feature that’s been requested quite a lot over the past years so we are pleased to announce...

Mapping By Spreadsheet

We realise that mapping listings in bulk for new channels can be a gargantuan and often tedious task if your channel SKU’s don’t match your product SKUs. So with this in mind, we have now provided you with a method of exporting all of your unmapped listings for a channel to a spreadsheet. So you can enter the product SKU’s and import that file and map all your listings in one go. Search Everywhere Upgrade

Last but not least, we have an upgrade to the Search Everywhere feature that was released a while back (the search box in the top right of StoreFeeder). You will now see a new box above both the 'Manage Products' and 'Manage Orders' grids so you can have easy access to the data you need (We’ve included the most common things people search for). And the best part is that when you hit enter that the grid is automatically filtered to the data you need. We think this should be a boon in your busiest period as it should allow you to bring up information so much quicker relying on the standard grid filters and wildcard searching.
