Welcome to the latest Release Update blog post.

We're just about to creep into the busiest time of the year; Black Friday around the corner and the run up to Christmas following that. As always, we are ecstatic that you've chosen StoreFeeder as your ecommerce solution and in this especially hectic time, we hope that we are able to make things a liitle easier where we can.

Speaking of Christmas, I can only hope the Covid 19 restrictions have been relaxed by then. The idea of not being able to spend Christmas Day with family is a miserable one even if I do spend a large portion of it nodding off on the sofa!

As always, there has been a lot of work in the background but there have been some great updates and new features released this month, the highlights of which are below:

Amazon Download Order Data Button

Recently, as you may already be aware, Amazon made the decision to implement forced customer data anonymisation on orders over 30 days old if they were being stored on third party software.

We found that our customers were getting frustrated at this due a number of things, an example of which could be that you aren't able to get information when needing to send replacement orders out etc.

The resolution: as Amazon themselves store this data past 30 days we came to the agreement that we could request an extra 30 days access to the data if needed. Once this period expired, the data would simply be anonymised again.

So now, if you need access to customer data that has been anonymised on an Amazon order, you can retrieve it by clicking the "Restore Amazon Data" button found in the top right of the "Edit Order" page as shown below.

Order Validation for Mobile App

A great feature for our app users - you can now have pickers validate orders as an extra quality control precaution if desired.

The option to have this happen can be found when creating pickwaves as shown below:

By selecting one of these two options before creating the pickwave it will ensure that the orders in the pickwave require scanned validation after they have been picked.

You can either have it set to require the products in the order to be scanned again or you can have it set to require the location to be scanned on top of that.

Once an order has been validated through the StoreFeeder App, it will appear as validated on the StoreFeeder website as well. You can see the information by editing the order you wish to check; on the right hand side under the "Order Process Details" section, you will see when the order was validated and by which picker.

Amazon Refunds Beta Coming Soon!

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is Amazon-logo.jpg

When we released the eBay refunds feature a while back we promised that we were working to bring this functionality to other major channels and we have delivered!

The Amazon refunds feature is just round the corner but we need some willing subjects to test it on first to make sure everything is functioning as intended.

If you are interested in being one of the first to trial this exciting new feature, please get in touch with our support team at support@storefeeder.com.

Finally….

There have been some great new features and fixes implemented this release and we hope you find them useful in one way or another.

As always we’ll keep working hard to provide you with the best service we can.

From all of us here at StoreFeeder, happy selling.
