Welcome to the latest Release Update blog post.

I hope it's not too late to be wishing you all a Happy New Year! Unfortunately, this is the earliest the release schedule would allow me to do so... (why can't people just fit around my holiday wishes schedule eh?)

I'm sure most of you are reading this from the comfort of your home as the Omicron variant forces us all back inside. If you are then take a minute, whack the kettle on and buckle in for the first StoreFeeder update of the year!

As per usual, our developers have been working hard to bring you an exciting update this month. There has been a lot of work in the background but there have been some great updates and new features released in this update, the highlights of which are below:

Amazon "Ship By" Dates

What a fantastic way to kick start this update; we've made it so that your Amazon orders now import their latest "Ship by" date and time. Not only that but we've added the option to be able to filter/sort by "Ship by" date on the picking page so that you can prioritise which orders need to be out the door first more efficiently.

If you want to see the "Ship by" date on an individual order, simply edit the order and look to the right-hand side of the page. Under the section titled "Order Process Details" you'll see the freshly added "Ship by" date and time as shown below:

As for viewing it on your picking page, that's easy too! All you need to do is add it to your existing set of filters; you can do this by clicking the tools icon in the top right of the "Outstanding Orders" grid and checkboxing "Ship By Date" as demonstrated below:

On top of that, the "Ship By Date" has been added as a token that you can use with your order export template. For more information on how to set that up, see our guide here.

New Required Amazon Attributes

A very important update for our users that sell goods in the beauty, grocery and other perishable goods categories; there are two new required attributes when uploading listings under the aforementioned categories: "Is Heat Sensitive" & "Is Expiration Dated Product".

These fields can be found in the same place as the others, under the "Attributes" tab on the left-hand side of any of your Amazon listings.

Xero - Anonymised Orders Support

Previously, it hasn't been possible to export orders with anonymised data to Xero due to it causing StoreFeeder to believe that the order was no longer associated with a customer which in turn, made exporting it to Xero an impossibility in it's current state at the time.

Well, the good news is, that's no longer the case! So you now shouldn't have any issues exporting your orders to xero, even if the customer data has been anonymised. The even better news is that you don't have to do anything for this change to take effect on your account, it's already active.

New FedEx Service Added

A short and sweet update for FedEx here, we've added support for an additional international service code:

FEDEX_INTERNATIONAL_CONNECT_PLUS

Which if you couldn't already tell, is for FedEx's International Connect Plus service!

If you use this service and want to be able to produce your International Connect Plus labels through StoreFeeder, you'll need to create new Shipping Methods and Shipping Rules for the new service code.

DHL Shipping Email

Not so much an update but a change that our DHL users should be made aware of. We've changed where we obtain the contact email we provide for DHL when despatching orders.

It used to be the email associated with the account (likely the one used when signing up) but now it comes from the company identity as we've found this to be a more likely place to store your commercial email and will allow you to adjust it when you need to with ease.

You can see the email on your company identity in your StoreFeeder settings. On the left-hand side you will see a tab titled "Company Identities" you can find the email for each of your company identities here.

Finally….

There have been some great new features and fixes implemented in this release and we hope you find them useful in one way or another.

As always we’ll keep working hard to provide you with the best service we can.

From all of us here at StoreFeeder, happy selling.
