Welcome to the latest Release Update blog post.
I can't stress how good it feels to be back in the office after 18 months (give or take) away; it's been amazing seeing all the StoreFeeder faces that I've missed over the past year and a half - perhaps even better than seeing the office pool table again, a dearly missed part of the weekdays!
What's more, the first blog I've been able to write since returning to the office is jam-packed with spectacular new features for you all! So grab a coffee and take 5 minutes to read all about it below, you won't be disappointed.
As always, there has been a lot of work in the background but there have been some great updates and new features released in this update, the highlights of which are below:
Parcelhub Integration
It's always a pleasure when I'm able to write about a brand new integration with StoreFeeder; today, I'm happy to announce that we now are able to integrate with Parcelhub!
Integrating with Parcelhub through StoreFeeder is a simple process so, if you're a Parcelhub user, follow the guide below on how to integrate your Parcelhub account with StoreFeeder:
https://support.storefeeder.com/hc/en-gb/articles/4405882819217-Integrating-with-Parcelhub
This integration, whilst available to all, is still being considered in its early stages (a beta if you will). Should you experience any issues whilst using Parcelhub, please contact our support team here: https://support.storefeeder.com/hc/en-gb/requests/new.
Country of Origin - Amazon
A rather important update for our Amazon sellers, which is quite a few of you! Amazon has chosen to make "Country of Origin" a mandatory field on all product listings.
In StoreFeeder, we'll fill that field out automatically if you have a "Country of Manufacture" on your products. If this field is not filled in, it will also remain blank on your Amazon listings, meaning that you'll get errors on the listing letting you know that, that field isn't being uploaded.
It's important to note (so that you don't start panicking) that, by this field not being filled in, your Amazon listings aren't going to just stop being updated by StoreFeeder. With this being said, I'm unsure of how strictly Amazon will be enforcing this new rule and as such, I would recommend that you add a country of manufacture to your products if you can.
Adding a country of manufacture to your products can either be done on the product in StoreFeeder by editing it and going to the Shipping and Handling tab on the left-hand side of the page:
Or it can be done in bulk via our product import/export feature. A guide on using the product import/export tool can be found here:
DHL Parcel UK Multi-Consignment Support
What a doozy this is for our DHL Parcel UK users! StoreFeeder now supports multiple consignments through DHL Parcel UK.
Previously, StoreFeeder could only print a label for one parcel per order when despatching with DHL Parcel UK; if the order was too big for one parcel then the order needed to be split down so that you could get the two (or more) different labels you needed.
Well, this is no longer the case now! If you have a DHL Parcel UK order that requires more than one parcel, we can generate a label for each of those parcels without you having to split the order up.
WooCommerce Category Export
A rather short but sweet update here, certainly not much to write about but definitely an update worth mentioning!
We can now export categories from your WooCommerce listings so that you can see which category each of your listings belongs to all in one place.
If you haven't used the listings import/export feature before, here is a guide on how to do so:
From there, all you need to do is select 'WooCommerce Category' from the list of 'Fields to Export':
Finally….
There have been some great new features and fixes implemented this release and we hope you find them useful in one way or another.
As always we’ll keep working hard to provide you with the best service we can.
From all of us here at StoreFeeder, happy selling.
