Latest Release Updates – 11th October 2021

October 11, 2021

Harry James

Welcome to the latest Release Update blog post.

The cold is setting in and the days just keep on getting shorter. Fortunately, our developers have been making excellent use of those short days and have been putting in a real shift to make sure our StoreFeeder users keep getting great new features and the same excellent service they are used to.

Also, should you be over at IRX this week, make sure you come and say hello to us there! We'd love to see and hear from you and put faces to names as well.

As always, there has been a lot of work in the background but there have been some great updates and new features released in this update, the highlights of which are below:

Etsy Listing Renewal

Etsy users, we've heard you and have added the option to automatically renew your listings when the listing has sold out.

Warning: Standard Etsy listing fees apply when a listing is automatically renewed through StoreFeeder. Upon relisting, Etsy will still charge you as they would if you were to relist directly through them.

If you wish for StoreFeeder to automatically renew your sold-out Etsy listings, there's a couple of settings you'll need to change.

First, on your Etsy Integration make sure the following setting (Update Listing State) is switched on:

Once that's done, you'll need to decide which of your listings we are allowed to auto-renew. You can do this either on the listing itself or in bulk through our product import/export tool.

To do it on a single listing through StoreFeeder, you simply need to edit the Etsy listing you want to auto-renew and switch the appropriately titled "Auto Renew Listing" switch on as shown below:

Don't forget to save the page when you're finished!

Purchase Order Quarantine Stock Visibility

Predominantly for our Multi-Stock location users, quarantined stock locations are a fantastic way of keeping quantities of an item separate from its normal stock should it need checking for any reason before it can be sold. You can still see exactly how many of an item you have in total but also are able to keep a portion of it aside that isn't for sale for whatever reason you may have.

Since this update is about quarantined stock locations, if you'd like to learn more about them, you can find our knowledgebase article on the subject here:

On to the actual update now - we've added the option to view a breakdown of your inventory (by stock location) when raising a purchase order. The reason for this being that previously the inventory figure may have read "5" but those 5 items could have been in quarantine and therefore not fit for sale; this, in turn, could have then resulted in you not raising a purchase order when in actuality, one was indeed required.

So now, when you raise a purchase order, you can scroll over the inventory figure and view where the inventory is distributed and whether it's in quarantine or not as shown below:

The yellow striped square signals a quarantined location.

Totes per Pickwave (Consolidated Picking)

Prior to this update, you could only set a default amount of totes used when picking on the 'Despatch Mode' page; there wasn't a way of changing this on a 'per pickwave' level.

Well, this is no longer an issue - though you will still have a default amount of totes, you can now choose to change the number of totes being used on a pickwave as you are creating it as shown below:

There have been some great new features and fixes implemented in this release and we hope you find them useful in one way or another.

As always we’ll keep working hard to provide you with the best service we can.

From all of us here at StoreFeeder, happy selling.
