Welcome to the latest Release Update blog post.

Crikey, the weather has really ramped up this last week! It's safe to say that the fans are out all day and the duvet is almost always off at night (though, you have to have a bit of you touching the duvet in order to sleep, or is that just me?). I imagine that, with this rise in heat, our developers have been working up a sweat as this release is packed with interesting additions to StoreFeeder.

As always, there has been a lot of work in the background but there have been some great updates and new features released in this update, the highlights of which are below:

Amazon Apparel Size Standards

To bring StoreFeeder in line with Amazon's apparel size standards we have added a host of new fields to our Amazon listing attributes under the 'Clothing' category. There are honestly too many to list here but you'll find them by editing an Amazon clothing listing and clicking the 'Attributes' tab on the left hand navigation bar as shown below:

Most of the new attributes follow a theme; they will be titled like so: "(Type of Clothing) (Size Type)", for example: "Bottoms Inseam Size".

Once you've found the attributes for the type of clothing that you're listing, you'll want to follow Amazon's guidelines for what you should enter. You can find a guide on their apparel size standards here:

Product Change Auditing

This is a nice new addition to help recognise what and when changes have been made to a product. This feature will also tell you who has made the change, not that we encourage naming and shaming of course!

You can find the new product audit log by editing any of your existing products and clicking "Audit Trail" on the left-hand navigation bar as shown below:

Currently the audit log displays any changes made to the following fields:

  • Name
  • Price
  • Description
  • Supplier Cost

When a change is made to any of these fields, you should then see then show up on the audit trail page like so:

OnBuy Handling Time

For our OnBuy users that make use of OnBuy's "Global Handling Time" feature, we now support this in StoreFeeder. By this I mean, we simply wont overwrite the handling time if you chose for us not to do so.

If you would like us not to update the handling time when updating your OnBuy listings, you'll have to flick this switch on your OnBuy integration:

Of course, don't forget that, if you do wish to control the handling time on your OnBuy listings you can do so by editing the listing and filling in the field shown below:

Finally….

There have been some great new features and fixes implemented this release and we hope you find them useful in one way or another.

As always we’ll keep working hard to provide you with the best service we can.

From all of us here at StoreFeeder, happy selling.
