How to Integrate Amazon with WooCommerce

8th June 2022

Whether you sell products using Amazon, a website built with WooCommerce or both, StoreFeeder offers the option to integrate the two together.

Our multi-channel ecommerce software solutions prevent the need to log in to your website and the Amazon marketplace separately and will keep all product information, prices and orders neatly in one place. Ultimately, StoreFeeder will allow you to integrate the two ecommerce platforms with ease.

If you’re an established business who has been selling on Amazon for years, you’ll likely be familiar with the ‘price wars,’ where the products of brand new sellers can overtake yours if they sell a similar item at a lower price. Similarly, you’ll also be used to paying Amazon a cut of your profits.

Therefore, integrating your very own website with your Amazon activities might be the perfect move for your business to make – allowing you to benefit from the popularity of the Amazon marketplace, while being able to sell your products on your very own website too.

In this blog post, we’ll explain the benefits that StoreFeeder can provide to those looking for an Amazon WooCommerce integration which will make selling across both platforms easy.

Using StoreFeeder for an Amazon WooCommerce Integration

By using StoreFeeder to integrate Amazon and WooCommerce, you’ll be able to:

  • Keep track of all your products and manage them in one place, with the ability to upload new products and adjust the prices of items across platforms at the same time.
  • View the sales made across platforms with real-time data, all in one place.
  • Integrate with preferred couriers including DPD, Royal Mail, YODEL and more, or use multiple couriers to make order tracking, dispatches and returns across platforms simple.

How does StoreFeeder Integrate Amazon with WooCommerce?

We won’t get hung up on the technical terms, but we will show you how straightforward and hassle-free it is to integrate Amazon with WooCommerce. Taking you through the process step by step, we’ll show you exactly what you’ll see when using StoreFeeder for integration.

Step 1:

The first step to integrate Amazon with WooCommerce is to request a free demonstration of our software. Then, sign up and one of our dedicated team members will introduce you to StoreFeeder and make the process as easy as possible. Our helpful and accommodating team is just one of the many reasons why StoreFeeder has outstanding ratings on Trustpilot.

Step 2:

First, sign into your StoreFeeder account. Then, you’ll be taken to the dashboard and should see a link in a yellow bar displayed at the top of the page. Click this to start the integration.

Alternatively, look for ‘settings’ at the top right of the page, then click ‘your integrations.’

Step 3:

Once you’ve done this, you’ll see a list of all the channels you’re using to sell your products. If you’ve not set up your Amazon store, you’ll need to create a new integration, which can be done by clicking the green ‘new integration’ button in the top right corner of the dashboard.

Step 4:

Once you’ve clicked the green button, select ‘marketplace and ‘Amazon.’

You’ll be asked to put a name down for the integration and to choose which Amazon store you’ll be selling through. You’ll also be given the option to extend permissions to all users on the account. Once finished, click ‘add integration’.

Step 5:

To create a link between StoreFeeder and Amazon, enter a ‘Seller ID’ and ‘MWS’ authorisation token. You can enter this information by logging into your Amazon seller central account. You’ll then be taken to your central seller account dashboard, where you’ll be able to hover over the settings option in the top right corner and select ‘user permissions’ from the drop down menu.

Finally, grant StoreFeeder access to your seller account by clicking ‘Visit Manage Your Apps,’ located just below the ‘third-party developer and apps’ header.

Step 6:

Once on ‘manage your apps,’ click ‘authorise new developer’ and you’ll be taken to a screen that asks for some information.

Enter the following information in the fields:

  • Application Name: StoreFeeder
  • Application’s Developer Account Number for amazon.co.uk: 5314-6059-1309
  • Application’s Developer Account Number for amazon.com: 8273-3633-3402
  • Application’s Developer Account Number for amazon.com.au: 2349-1655-3614

Step 7:

Once you’ve entered this, click ‘next’ and you’ll see the terms and conditions for Amazon. When you’ve read it, tick the boxes and click ‘next.’ You’ll then have access to the MWS authorisation token needed to connect your Amazon to StoreFeeder.

Step 8:

Head back to the StoreFeeder integration details page and paste the seller ID into the ‘seller ID’ field and the MWS authorisation token into the MWS Auth token field then click ‘save.’

All you need to do now is turn on the ‘Automatic Listing Download’ option, then that’s it! Your Amazon account and WooCommerce store will be integrated!
