How can Magento and eBay be integrated?
26th May 2022

Whether your store is built on Magento or Magento 2, you may be interested in selling your goods across other popular online marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay. However, doing this without integration can be challenging. Without integration you would have to login to multiple different marketplaces and manually adjust sale prices, revise product information, upload new ranges, track orders and more. Overall, in terms of workload, selling across multiple marketplaces can essentially become like owning two or more businesses – with each one requiring constant attention and maintenance.
This may well be the position you’re in right now as you read this blog post, where you’ve already begun selling on marketplaces like eBay but are simply thinking ‘there must be a better way’. Or, perhaps you’re planning to start selling your products on eBay and already know there must be a solution out there that makes things simple.

How does Storefeeder integrate Magento and eBay?
We won’t bore you with the tech, but we’ll show you exactly what you will be able to see when using Storefeeder to integrate your eBay store with your Magento website.
Step 1:
The first step to integrating your Magento store with eBay is to request a free demonstration of the software, then sign up and have one of our dedicated team members onboard you to the Storefeeder system. We make this part as easy and stress free as possible, which is just one of the reasons why we’re rated so highly on TrustPilot.
Step 2:
Once you’re signed up and logged in, click the link in the yellow bar as shown below, or click ‘settings’, ‘your integrations’, as circled in the top right corner.
Step 3:
Once you’ve done that, you’ll be in your main integrations dashboard which will show all of the marketplaces you’re selling on. If you’ve not yet set up your eBay integration, click the green ‘new integration’ button in the top right corner.
Step 4:
Once you’ve clicked that green button, select marketplace and then eBay.
You’ll be asked for a couple of details after that, such as which eBay country you are selling through. Then, click ‘link my eBay account to Storefeeder’ – you’ll need to do this for both the new and old APIs. Then you’ll be asked to login with your eBay username and password in order to connect everything up.
Step 5:
Once this is done, you’ll need to enter your PayPal email address within Storefeeder as shown below so that payments can be tracked on Storefeeder as a single dashboard.
Then that’s it! Your Magento store will be fully integrated with eBay!
Note: If you’re already a Storefeeder customer, then we recommend reading our eBay integration guide which can be found here and contains further screenshots, instructions and explanations on the process if needed.
